Katherine Heigl admits to acting like an ‘a**hole’ during the height of her success in her 20s

US actress, Katherine Heigl has long been blasted for reputedly causing ‘desperately difficult situations’ on set.

Now, the blonde A-lister, 39, has admitted to acting like an ‘a**hole’ during the height of her success in her 20s.

Speaking to TV GUIDE on Sunday the Suits star revealed: ‘My career took off in my 20s and when it first took off, I’m not going to deny there was some arrogance. I was feeling pretty untouchable and pretty on top of the world.’

‘I felt like I had worked really hard to get there, so I was really gonna relish it. And now, sometimes I’ll look at magazine covers from that time and be, ‘Girl, take it down a notch!” 

Katherine also told the publication she turned to therapy after the now infamous Emmy drama back in 2008 when she withdrew her name from award consideration citing her lackluster story-line on Grey’s Anatomy.  

The talented actress explained she was ‘mad’ at her younger self for quite some time over her past behaviour, however now she said she’s focused on exercising self-forgiveness.

Katherine has been labelled ‘difficult’ to work with by industry insiders over the years.

Sources told THR in 2014 that Katherine has attitude problems and would cause ‘desperately difficult situations’ on set.

‘She can cost you time every single day of shooting,’ says a person who worked on Katherine’s 2010 film Life As We Know It.

‘Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every single day,’ a source told the publication.

Katherine, who plays the role of Samantha Wheeler on the hit legal drama joined the cast for season eight following the departure of Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams.
