Kimberley Walsh shared a slew of sweet throwback snaps from giving birth to her son Nate last year, as she celebrates his first birthday.

The 40-year-old posted the hospital shots to her 766k Instagram followers on Friday, noting that it feels like ‘I blinked and he’s already a year old’. 

In one snap, the Girls Aloud singer was sitting in a hospital gown as she prepared to give birth, looking radiant as she flashed a smile for the camera.

And she seemed in high spirits as she prepared to become a new mother again in the pics, posing bedside as she held her hips and pregnant stomach.

With a hospital belt wrapped around her belly, Kimberley also found a moment to snap a mirror selfie from hospital at the time – donning a pair of matching pyjamas.

In a touching moment, another picture showed her cradling newborn baby Nate, as her husband Justin Scott stood beside the bed – beaming down at his new son.

Taking to the caption of the picture carousel, mum-of-three Kimberley explained that the first birthday is ‘always an emotional one for me’.

She also shared some details of the birth with fans, detailing that she had to go into hospital and be induced due to complications with antibodies in her blood.

And a year on, the singer celebrated in style as she threw Nate a fun soft-play birthday party in her garden.

The bash even featured a pizza truck for guests, as Nate took his pride of place seat on the bar.

Dubbing him cute nickname ‘Nay Nay’, Kimberley told her followers ‘Oh Nay Nay we love you so much’.
