He’s the king of breakfast radio who is paid between $4 and $5 million for KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.
And on the Game Changers: Radio podcast, Kyle Sandilands revealed how he negotiated his first $1 million contract, back in 2005.

Kyle and Jackie were earning approximately $255,000 in 2004 on the afternoon drive on the Hit Network, before being moved to the breakfast spot at 2DAY FM.
The 46-year-old demanded the big bucks, telling the CEO at the time: ‘We want $1 million each.’
After being laughed at, Kyle did not back down, saying: ‘If I could give you the number one ratings it would be worth a million dollars each…We’ll keep the same money and as soon as we go number one we’re on a million dollars each.’
Recalling just how fast he and Jackie managed to top the ratings, Kyle joked: ‘Well I think three months later he [the CEO] was getting the cheque book out!’

Kyle is now accustomed to the high-life, residing in a $5,000 a week Sydney waterfront three-level mansion with girlfriend Imogen Anthony.
He also rents a $5.5 million hobby farm in Terrey Hills, located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The love nest in the exclusive suburb of Mosman on the lower North Shore boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a marble ensuite and adjoining spa, walk-in wardrobes and views spanning the full breadth of Middle Harbour.
Kyle’s abode also offers separate dining rooms for formal and casual gatherings, and a fully stocked games room with its own kitchen.
The larger-than-life personality is also one to splash out on gourmet meals, with girlfriend Imogen, 27, previously revealing on Instagram that the couple spends $100 a day on Deliveroo [fast food delivery] meals.
