The government shutdown rages on, but that hasn’t stopped Donald Trump’s family from enjoying the sun.
Lara Trump was once again seen soaking up the good weather during a visit at Mar-A-Lago in West Palm Beach on Sunday.
The president’s daughter-in-law made sure to work on her tan as she sported red bikini bottoms and a matching pink and red-striped top.
Lara, 36, protected her face from the day’s rays with a straw hat and sunglasses.

Lara protected herself from the sun’s rays with a straw hat and a pair of sunglasses as well
She also made sure to keep hydrated, swinging a water bottle in one hand.
But Lara didn’t just lay by the water all day, using the weather as a good excuse to go for a jog outdoors.
Lara’s ripped six-pack and toned legs were in full view as she sported black Nike shorts and a black sports bra for her run.
She was accompanied by a male companion – possibly a Secret Service agent – who made sure to always run one step behind Lara during the outing.

Lara returned to Mar-a-Lago after spending a few days in her native North Carolina to celebrate Christmas with her family.
She was accompanied by husband Eric Trump and their one-year-old son Luke for the visit to her parents at Wrightsville Beach.
Lara shared pictures of her and Eric posing with Luke on a sun-drenched deck overlooking a gorgeous lake in one holiday photo.
Another Instagram snap showed the three posing with Lara’s parents and brother Kyle Yunaska, who was promoted to chief of staff of the Energy Department’s Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis after Trump was elected.
But Lara didn’t just lay by the water all day, using the weather as a good excuse to go for a jog

Lara also shared plenty of pictures of Luke, including one in which he was dressed in a Santa Claus costume.
The family stayed in Wrightsville to celebrate Lara’s father’s birthday before they headed back to Mar-a-Lago to continue their vacation.
Lara had been seen strolling around the country club’s grounds two days before Christmas in a white bikini, trailed by the family’s dog Charlie.
She later took a quick outing to Target, bringing Luke on for the ride and letting him try on a pair of giant fluffy yellow ear muffs.

Lara isn’t the only Trump currently enjoying Mar-a-Lago.
Donald Trump Jr reunited with his ex-wife Vanessa to spend Christmas with their five children at the resort on Monday.
They were also joined Marie Zelnickova, Don Jr’s grandmother and Ivana Trump’s mother.
Don Jr posted photos of the day on his Instagram, writing: ‘Some pics from a great Christmas Day with the kids. #christmas #family #holiday.’
But it seems Don Jr didn’t leave girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle behind for the holidays, as she also appeared to stay at the country club for Christmas.
Guilfoyle posted photos of her view in Mar-A-Lago as well as a picture of her standing with Trump supporter Rush Limbaugh at the Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit and Winter Gala, which took place at the Palm Beach resort.
