But Leonardo Di Caprio has now put his Los Angeles home for sale 19 years later and is set to make a profit of £692,000 from the sale.

The actor has put the Spanish-style abode, located in LA’s trendy Silver Lake neighbourhood, for sale with an asking price of  $1,749,000 (£1.3 million).

Leonardo snapped up the home for £608,000, two years after he starred in smash-hit film, Titanic, and it’s clear to see how the lavish abode caught his eye  

Built in 1931, the home boasts four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms spread across multiple levels.

At a size of 3,560 square foot, the house includes an elevator, beamed ceiling, french doors, arched entryways and a fireplace. 

The exterior of the property is even more impressive and includes a 6,484-square foot swimming pool, an enclosed courtyard with a fountain and a pavilion.

The house has real wooden floors and its several balconies will allow the new owner to have spectacular views of the property’s sprawling terrace.  

Despite the grand size of the house, the kitchen looks cozy and will make guests feel right at home.

The white tiled counter tops are brought to life with a cross-shaped design and a blue tiled finish with fans hanging from the ceiling to keep the new residents cool during the California summers.

With his last on-camera film appearance in The Revenant in 2015, the actor will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, a re-telling of Charles Manson’s ‘The Family’ and the notorious murders committed by the group in the 1960s.

He will also star as a police officer seeking justice against a New York gang in The Black Hand and as US president Theodore Roosevelt in a biography of his life called Roosevelt. 

The Oscar-winner also has a role in the upcoming film Killers of the Flower Moon about an FBI investigation into the mysterious murder of members of the Native American Osage tribe.
