MAFS: Bridezilla Melinda Willis says that her groom is punching in wedding from hell

Married At First Sight couple Melinda Willis and Layton Mills got off to an awkward start during Sunday night’s episode.

Melinda, a confident and sassy businesswoman, was immediately disappointed by her groom despite his affable demeanour.

The 32-year-old was instantly put off by Layton’s physical appearance, despite his smooth talk and impeccable presentation.

‘He may be punching just a little,’ Melinda told producers when she was asked what her first impressions of Layton were.

‘I would swipe left. I’m a nine and a half on a bad day,’ she added.

Melinda then explained that her usual type is someone who is tall, dark, handsome, European, chiseled with a little bit of facial hair.

‘I take pride in my appearance, make my health a priority, and I’m always working on growing and up leveling together,’ she began.

‘I want us to be an unstoppable power couple, one that challenges each other and builds an empire together – to sum me up, I would say that you have found yourself a unicorn.’

Layton’s vows were cut short as producers switched to an interview of Melinda saying she was shocked that he grew up with a money tree.

After exchanging their vows, Layton admitted he was impressed with his bride

Layton later admitted he was impressed with his bride. 

‘She’s a confident girl, very attractive, gorgeous, super funny, but I’ve really got too get to know her a little bit more,’ he said.

After an awkward photoshoot, Melinda confided to her bridesmaids and producers that she was unhappy with her groom. 

‘The words he uses, they’re so like perfected, very put together and very charming. I feel like he’s quite an ego person,’ she told cameras.

‘She’s a confident girl, very attractive, gorgeous, super funny, but I’ve really got too get to know her a little bit more,’ he said
