Amad Diallo’s loan move from Manchester United to Feyenoord is off after the Ivorian winger suffered a thigh injury that will keep him out for six weeks.
United have confirmed that Diallo sustained the injury in training ahead of his temporary switch to the Dutch side, and the 19-year-old will remain in Manchester for treatment.

‘Unfortunately, this happened just before his planned loan move to Feyenoord. Amad will remain at United and rehabilitate back to full fitness.’
Diallo, who completed a £37million move to United from Atalanta in January, has impressed in training since returning to the club from the Tokyo Olympics.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed over the weekend that Diallo was set to go out on loan after previously suggesting that he could stay United this season.

United will consider loan requests for Daniel James with Everton and Leeds both interested
‘It’s not 100 per cent signed but we’ve agreed,’ said Solskjaer. ‘I don’t have to say which team it is yet, but we’ve found a place that Amad feels excited about and we feel excited about.’
The decision was made after United confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is making a sensational return to Old Trafford from Juventus.
The Ronaldo deal could have implications for other United players. Leeds are expected to resurrect their interest in a loan move for Dan James, and West Ham have been encouraged to make another move for Jesse Lingard.
