Confronting moment eshay fires up at guards on a train after they tried to get him to buy a ticket: ‘Wait till you meet my brother’

  • Confrontation caught on video by passenger aboard tram on Saturday night
  • Man wearing bum bag told guards they don’t want to meet his brother

A Melbourne eshay was caught on camera repeatedly telling train officers ‘you don’t want to meet my brother’ before telling a female worker ‘you’re dead’.

A Reddit user shared footage of the interaction on Saturday showing a young man being spoken to by two train guards attempting to get him to purchase a ticket.

The man, dressed in a black North Face shirt with a bum bag around his shoulder, repeatedly refuses their request before swearing and threatening the public transport staff.

‘Getting caught doing the wrong thing, then having a go at the person doing their job….hero? Nah, c**khead more like it,’ the user captioned the footage.

The video was captured by a passenger aboard a Melbourne train over the weekend, showing the confrontation between the angry young man and shocked train officers.

‘I wanna see your badge number, show me your badge,’ the man says to the officers who confirm they already have.

The conversation then takes an ugly turn as the eshay threatens the guard.

‘Don’t touch me or I’ll knock you out,’ he says, as the train worker calls him a ‘thief’ for not paying for a ticket.

‘I’m not a thief bro,’ he says.

‘Yes you are, buy a ticket,’ the worker replies.

The bum bag-wielding man then walks to the other door where he repeatedly presses the button to exit despite the train still moving.

‘I’m suggesting you don’t touch me again, that’ll be the last thing you do. I promise you that,’ he again threatens the officer.

‘You don’t want to meet my brother, he’ll knock you out on the spot, brother.’

The guard continues to ask the man to pay for his fare, before the young man again warns him of his brother.

‘I can do whatever I want bro. You’re a d***head, c***,’ he says as the doors open, before turning and hurling a final threat to the staff.

‘You’re dead bro,’ he says.

Commenters mocked the eshay and his continual intimidation technique of citing his brother.

‘You know you’re weak when you’re an adult and your intimidation tactics involve ‘wait until my brother gets here he’ll smash you’,’ a Reddit user said.

”Wait till you meet my brother’ lol,’ another replied.

One person revealed their own run in with the eshay, saying he’d experienced similar behaviour from him and his mates on the Yarra Tram.

He said he was riding the 96 train northbound where he saw the man and a friend, wearing the same clothes, staring at him down the carriage.

The man said he laughed at something irrelevant to them before they fired up.

‘About a stop later I looked out the window again in their direction when the guy in the video starts getting aggressive and something along the lines of ‘you keep f***ing looking at us were going to f*** you up’ and I replied I’m not looking at you,’ the commenter said.

‘Once the tram stopped his mate got off and he starts staring eyeing me up and throws a full plastic water bottle right at me which got me on the shoulder then jumped off and I sarcastically yelled back ‘I’m f***ing terrified’.

‘As the tram pulled away he pulled gang sings towards the tram like two finger pistols pointed at each other which looked hilarious because of how non-threatening the guy looked.’
