Michael Clarke and girlfriend Jade Yarbrough look more smitten than ever

Michael Clarke’s romance with girlfriend Jade Yarbrough appears to be sailing along smoothly.

On Saturday, the couple looked smitten as they headed to a get together at the Sydney home of Karl Stefanovic. 

Today show host Karl is Jade’s brother-in-law, as he’s married to Jade’s older sister Jasmine.

Arriving together, the pair walked close together with former cricketer Michael throwing an arm over Jade’s shoulder. 

Michael, 41, and his 30-year-old ladylove looked to be in good spirits, with Michael throwing up peace signs to onlookers. 

They also shared a laugh as they entered exited a car and headed to Karl’s palatial home.

The couple stayed for a few drinks before heading off to watch the AFL Grand Final at the Mosman home of Karl’s co-star Richard Wilkins.

Karl, 48, was spotted leaving with Michael and Jade, carrying a bag as the trio made their way to the party. 

They stopped off along the way to pick up more booze from a bottle shop. 

Jade arrived wearing a simple black shirt  

She paired it with shorts and had a hoodie tied around her waist 

The blonde added a pair of black and white sneakers

Jade had on minimal makeup and wore sunglasses 

All three were later seen greeting Richard outside his house and enjoying a spot of socialising. 

Richard, 68, was on his deck showing off his view to Michael and Jade while they sipped on champagne.

Jade arrived in a casual outfit then changed, and looked chic in a warm black turtleneck, over which she wore a long, dark trench coat.

The former cricketer also wore sunglasses 

She paired the top and jacket with a pair of skintight dark blue jeans and slide on shoes. 

The blonde wore her bob down and sported a pair of sunglasses as well as a warm makeup look. 

Michael meanwhile dressed down in black hoodie and shorts paired with red sneakers.

After going inside Karl’s house, Jade changed into a chic ensemble 

Karl also opted for comfort, choosing a black shirt, loose slacks and white sneakers, as well as a cap and sunglasses. 

Entertainment reporter Richard held court in a blue shirt and striped shorts as well as a red cap.  

The couple appear to have been quietly dating for some months.

In July, Michael jetted out of the country alongside Jade, who is the younger sister of Jasmine Stefanovic (née Yarbrough). 

The pair were spotted at Sydney Airport, checking in late at night for a business class flight on Emirates and later out together in Paris. 

They were heading off to together to enjoy an overseas getaway in Europe with friends.   

All three stopped to pick up some alcohol as they made their way to the next location

Jade, who is an interior designer and co-founder of Merci Maison, couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she and Michael made their way through the terminal.

Rumours that the pair are dating broke on earlier that month. 

Jade and Michael are said to have initially met through Jade’s brother-in-law Karl.

The single father of one is also close friends with Jade’s business partner’s husband. 

The Daily Telegraph reports that Michael has become ‘quite fond’ of Jade in recent months.   

The sighting comes days after Michael finally discussed his relationship with Jade, insisting that the pair are ‘friends’.

Michael was coy when asked about their time away on holiday together in Europe in a recent issue of Stellar Magazine.  

‘I had two-and-a-half weeks away with some of my best friends [and] had such a great time. But I missed my little girl,’ he said, referring to his daughter, Kelsey Lee, six. 

‘I understand and respect that people are going to ask. I’ve never really cared too much about other people’s personal lives, but I understand if there’s interest.’

Michael went on to say he is close mates with his ex wife Kyly Clarke, 41, despite the pair splitting in 2020. 

‘I’ve got 50 per cent custody of my daughter with my ex-wife, we have an awesome friendship, and our daughter is certainly both of our priorities. Thankfully, that’s important to both of us’ he said.

Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the Today show host revealed how Clarke first met designer Jade.

‘He had a friend who was her business partner and so they met up and then got together,’ he explained.

‘We were with them on the weekend and they’re just a lovely couple.’

When asked by host Kyle Sandilands if the pair ‘were all over each other’, Karl admitted: ‘Just a little bit too much’.

Karl also said that the couple had, ‘kinda known each other for a couple of years but nothing happened’.

Michael has already introduced his six-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee to Jade.

The trio have been spotted playing happy families all over Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs over the last month. 

Michael was in a high-profile relationship with P.E Nation co-founder Pip Edwards, which ended for the first time in February last year after several months of dating.

Pip and Michael’s relationship began in June 2020 after his split from wife Kyly Clarke, which they had announced four months earlier.

After parting ways with Pip in February, the couple rekindled their romance in October, but split again in December.

Jade meanwhile, was in a long-term relationship with Andrew Leece, but she last posted about him online in January.
