Miley Cyrus has urged Brody Jenner to ‘take a nap and cool off’ after he joked about her kissing his ex Kaitlynn Carter following her shock split from Liam Hemsworth.
Brody, 35, had taken to social media, where he shared a photo of himself standing on a cliff solo with a pointed caption.
‘Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today,’ he wrote on Instagram, just the day after photos of his ex wife getting hot and heavy with Miley, 26, emerged.

Poking fun at the situation, Brody’s friend Brandon Thomas Lee, 23, took to the comments with a light-hearted response.
‘Let’s round this scandal our band post a pic of us making out,’ the son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee said with a kissy emoji.
Brody kept up the playful tone in his reply, writing: ‘Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.’
The singer/actress clapped back with a sassy response, telling Jenner: ‘Go take a nap in your truck and cool off. #HotGirlSummer.’

Miley was alluding to a part of The Hills: New Beginnings where Jenner stormed off from a fight with Carter to spend the night in his car.
While Miley seemed to have the last laugh, Brody’s mom Linda Thompson still chimed in with her own two cents.

They continued: ‘They’re not on the same page when it comes to a lot of fundamental things that make a relationship work. It’s not surprising at all.’
And according to OK! Australia, one issue appeared to be about settling down and starting a family.
The magazine reported on Sunday that Liam wanted to settle down while Miley wasn’t ready – leading to an ‘explosive fight’ back in July 2018 – months before their secret December wedding.
