Mom-of-three looks stunning after getting a sexy ambush makeover

A working mother-of-three who rarely has time to pamper herself proudly showed off her slim figure in a red lace dress after receiving a stunning ambush makeover.

Sarah Levoir, 36, from Farmington, Minnesota, stood outside the Today plaza on Thursday with her husband Mike and their children Caleb, Elizabeth, and Grace in hopes of being chosen for a makeover on the show. 

It was Mike’s idea to try and get Sarah a new look, and he told Today fashion correspondent Jill Martin that his wife truly deserved to be treated like a queen for the day.

‘My wife, Sarah, she just works so hard taking care of this family,’ he explained. ‘She has a full-time job plus full-time taking care of these kids, and she just does such an amazing job. 

‘She just deserves to have a makeover and have something special done for her,’ he added. 

Sarah looked radiant when she stepped on stage in a figure-hugging lace dress while showing off her transformation. 

Her husband and children were blown away when they removed their blindfolds and saw her new look for the first time.

‘Whoa,’ her youngest daughter said, while Mike noted that she looked ‘amazing.’ 

Sarah was just as shocked when she turned around and looked at herself in the mirror for the first time since the makeover. 

‘Oh my gosh! Shut the front door,’ she said as she moved closer to the mirror to get a better look. ‘I don’t even recognize myself.’

Sarah’s hair was cut into a sleek chin-length bob, and celebrity hairstylist Louis Licari explained that he took color inspiration from her children, who all have a little red in their hair.

He ended up dying her hair light copper, which brought out her complexion and made her eyes pop.  

Today stars Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford couldn’t stop gushing about her makeover, and Hoda added: ‘That dress looks so gorgeous on you.’

Jill put Sarah in a stunning red lace dress that hit just below her knees and featured romantic bell sleeves. 

‘She looks drop dead gorgeous,’ Mike said of his wife’s new look.

‘I’m not good at it, so I figured just let the professionals do it,’ she said of her reasoning for wanting a makeover. 

‘So I really just wanted to come here and get it done.’

Suzette was all smiles when she strut across the stage wearing a floral tunic and matching pants. 

Her sister Sandy and niece Lindsey were excited about her new look, and Suzette noted that her outfit is ‘very trendy.’

Suzette was thrilled when she looked in the mirror for the first time since her makeover, and she clearly loved her spring-inspired ensemble. 

‘Oh my god, and the outfit’s great,’ she said. 

Louis explained that he took Suzette’s white highlights and made them golden to update her color, noting that she ‘looks fantastic.’
