Lamborghini is submerged when driver plows through Eta flood waters in Miami

A flash Lamborghini was seen plowing through deep flood waters in South Florida as Tropical Storm Eta continued to rained down on the southern portion of the state.
The footage was posted online by a viewer to WSVN’s weather coverage on Monday which saw the luxury yellow sports car being taken out for a spin in Miami.
The car went around a couple of other vehicles that were stopped in the middle of the road as they contemplated whether to continue their journey, which would likely see them end up partly underwater.

While other vehicles appeared to be stuck in the water, the Lamborghini went right around
The car’s engine is located at the rear meaning it is less likely to completely flood
But the driver of the Lambo didn’t waste any time at all and continued to speed ahead.
The car has such a low profile that the vehicle became fully submerged within seconds after entering the deep water.
Waves flew over the roof of the car leaving a huge wake in its path.
The flood waters appeared to be no match for the Huracan, which with a top speed of 202mph, seemed to simply glide on through.
An engine situated at the rear of the vehicle also prevented key components from becoming damaged by the water.

The video was posted to Twitter by Florida radio employee, Joe, who captioned it ‘#Lamborghini or Submarine?’ which appeared to generate a humorous response online.
‘I bet that fine-tuned Italian engine will just *love* all that dirty water,’ quipped Chris Martinez.
‘This video truly encapsulates South Florida,’ said Brian Entin.
‘Who knew #SubLambo was a thing?’, asked Fred Walton.
‘That might be the most Miami thing ever’, added Jon Galed.
‘It’s a submarini!’ said Michael Rudolph.

A deluge of rain from Tropical Storm Eta caused flooding Monday across South Florida’s most densely populated urban areas, stranding cars, flooding businesses, and swamping entire neighborhoods with fast-rising water that had no place to drain.
Eta ended up making landfall in the Florida Keys on Sunday night but the heavily populated areas of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties bore the brunt of its fury.
The storm is now hovering in the Gulf of Mexico off southwest Florida.
