A mother changed her surname to ‘Cameltoe’ following a wild holiday, leaving her 15-year-old son in tears because he thought he would also have to use the new name.

Lisa Bell, now 40, made the switch after getting a tattoo of the desert animal on her left big toe and asking men at her Magaluf hotel whether they wanted to see it.

The cleaner from Blackpool, Lancashire, paid £40 for the lasting memory of her trip which now shows up on her bills, chequebook and tax account, leaving her in fits of giggles.

Lisa is looking forward to putting the name on her passport, when it comes up for renewal, so she can show the world.

‘It’s so funny. I’ve never regretted it and I still love it’, she said.

‘I was going to change my full name to Iva Cameltoe – my first name was going to be Iva – but my friends convinced me to stick to just the surname.

‘I’m even Cameltoe at the tax office.

‘I still laugh when bills come through the door with my surname on them, or when I receive phone calls, because you can tell they think it must be a mistake.

‘They say Miss Camelio or something like that.’

‘My passport is up for renewal soon and I can’t wait to get in the name of Cameltoe, then I will book a package holiday with private transfer so some Spanish man has to stand with a board with the name Cameltoe on [at the airport].’

Lisa paid £40 to get her name changed by deed poll. It now appears on her bank statements, tax account, bills, and chequebook

The mother decided to get the tattoo after a drunken night out on a girls’ holiday in 2014.

But after choosing to celebrate with a new surname, she could never imagine she’d have to tell her future employers too.

Lisa said: ‘I was going up to groups of lads saying ‘do you want to see my cameltoe?’

‘The next day when I was walking down the strip, everyone was shouting ‘cameltoe!’ at me.

‘I came home and changed it by deed poll. It’s been that ever since.

‘My current boss found it absolutely hilarious when I told her. She found it funny.

‘My son was really embarrassed by me. When I came back and changed my name, my son was in tears because he thought his would change too. He wasn’t impressed.

‘He’s a bit more sensible than me. I don’t think he knew what Cameltoe meant at the time.’

The new surname now shows up on her bills and makes her laugh every time. Lisa said her boss also finds the new last name 'absolutely hilarious'

The single prankster has even hinted at finding love so she can ‘have Cameltoe babies’, meaning the Cameltoe name won’t die out.

Lisa said: ‘I said at the time I wanted to get a boyfriend and have lots of Cameltoe babies.

‘If ever I get married, the man would have to take my name so we don’t go extinct.

‘At the time I researched it and there was no-one else in the world with my name.’
