Mother was trolled after sharing a photo of her ultrasound

An Australian mother-to-be who shared a photo of her ultrasound online has been met with insults and taunts.

Sharni Turner shared the image to Twitter in September in which her baby is facing the front.

‘My ultrasound technician decided to do a front face image of my baby and it was the most terrifying thing over [sic] ever seen in my f***ing life,’ she wrote alongside the image.

Her son is due in September and little does he know that the post has gone viral, with 11,000 retweets and 31,000 likes at the time of writing.

It is clear that Sharni sees the humour of the image thanks to the caption and also the fact that her page is filled with her retweeting other people’s responses.

Unfortunately some of the 645 replies aren’t as light hearted as Sharni’s original comment, with some people commenting some awful things.

‘I’m now pro abortion,’ one response read, with another sharing a gif, with the text, ‘Abort, Abort’.

Another still wrote: ‘I can tell that your child will be pure evil’.

Sharni doesn't seem to be too phased by the comments as has been responding to many of them and retweeting some

Sharni didn’t let these comments slide and responded: ‘I don’t in anyway plan on having an abortion and that this is what a human skull looks like scanned bc LMAO [sic].’

Sadly someone responded to this tweet saying, ‘U shoulda bro ur [sic] kid ugly’.

Luckily not all commenters had such a negative response with many people joining in on the tongue-in-cheek approach that Sharni has taken.

Some women even chose to share their own ultrasound images, revealing how common photos like this are.

One Twitter user shared the image of Voldemort’s dark mark in the sky and another tweeted a gif from the movie, Alien.

‘Congratulations, you have a healthy baby Predator,’ wrote another person who was also making a movie reference.

‘Good luck finding suitable prey for the coming of age hunt 10 years from now.’
