Mother who lost four children in arson attack is fighting for her life in hospital

A mother who lost four of her children in an arson attack is ‘in a critical condition’ 18 months after the blaze, her family have revealed.

Michelle Pearson’s family had hopes for her recovery after she came out of a coma last year but her mother has taken to Facebook to say that her health has deteriorated in the last ten weeks.

The 37-year-old mother-of-five suffered unimaginable loss in December 2017 when her home was petrol bombed by Zak Bolland and David Worrall at 5 am after a petty argument involving Ms Pearson’s eldest son, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Ms Pearson was protected from news coverage when she came out of her coma last year in a bid to aid her recovery.

She was even forced to miss her children’s funerals, held last September.

There were plans by the family to place her in a rehab facility this year and suggestions that she could be home for Christmas.
