A desperate mother has taken to social media in a bid to find her missing teenage daughter after she switched off her phone and disappeared.

Sara Carfantan’s daughter Kaylee Anne, 15, was last seen on Friday morning at Harristown High School in Toowoomba, Queensland. 

Ms Carfantan said she dropped her daughter off at 7am and that was the last time she saw her.

She believes her ‘princess’ could be with a male friend, 17, and the boy’s father and has urged anyone with information to contact police.

‘Having said this she she could be anywhere in South East Queensland,’ she wrote.

‘She a beautiful young girl and I just would like her home. She’s turned her phone off presumably under the instruction of the person she is with. 

‘I’m so very grateful for all the help and shares. I want my princess home ASAP.’ 

A number of people from across South East Queensland shared the status, offering words of comfort to Mrs Carfantan. 

She said she had received a few phone calls about potential sightings but none have helped her track her daughter down. 

A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman confirmed to the Sunshine Coast Daily the teenage girl was still missing as of 4pm on Sunday.
