Some of Channel Nine’s biggest stars could be facing huge paycuts, an insider has alleged.
According to Saturday’s Daily Telegraph, network bosses are looking into further cost-cutting measures in the aftermath of sensational changes at the Today show this week.
And Nine veterans including Tracy Grimshaw, 58, and Eddie McGuire, 54, may see their eye-watering salaries take a big hit.

‘(The focus on stars’ salaries) will keep on going,’ the source told the publication.
‘At a time of cost-cutting, you can either save millions by slashing the rank and file or targeting a few stars.’
The well-placed mole added: ‘It’s a case of “who do we need?”‘

Speculation has long suggested Footy Show’s Eddie McGuire has commanded a soaring salary, with Herald Sun quoting a figure of $4million back in 2008.
Meanwhile A Current Affair’s Tracy Grimshaw is said to bring in a tidy $750,000 per year according to Daily Telegraph in 2015.
And 62-year-old 60 Minutes star Liz Hayes’ eye-watering pay packet is also said to be under scrutiny.
