NYPD hunts $80,000 ‘honey trap’ girls targeting tourists

Police are hunting two women who lured tourists back to their hotel rooms before snatching their luxury watches and other goods.

Cops have released images of the pair of suspects in New York which saw more than $76,500 taken.

They say the two women are behind the three different incidents that occurred during a six-day span in August.

The women are believed to have been operating around the Meatpacking district of Manhattan around August

The NYPD are seeking these two women who they believe are responsible for a string of thefts. The pair are accused of drugging lonely male tourists after going back to their hotel rooms in order to steal high-value goods such as designer watches worth up to $20,000

It is feared they also drugged them as the victims passed out while the robbery happened.

The first victim, a 38-year-old man, met a woman in the trendy Meatpacking district of Manhattan.

He took her back to his hotel room and was robbed of his $20,000 Audemars Piguet watch, police say.

Once inside the room, the victim is said to have become dizzy and lost consciousness.

The second victim was a 36-year-old man who is said to have had his $18,500 Rolex stolen.

Again once inside the room, the victim became dizzy and lost consciousness.

A 56-year-old man said he found that his $30,000 Breguet and $8,000 Omega watches were gone, as well as a Louis Vuitton bag and a Mont Blanc pen in similar circumstances, according to reports.

The first woman is described as a light skinned female, in her 30s and brunette. She was last seen wearing a pink top and light blue jeans.

The second individual is described as a female, white and in her 30s. She is blond with pink highlights and last seen wearing was a black top and black pants.
