Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, opens up on her QB husband’s strange habit before bed every night as she goes into detail on life in the spotlight alongside the Chiefs star

Patrick Mahomes has developed somewhat of a strange habit at night before falling asleep, as his wife, Brittany, reveals that he likes to devour a pack of chips everyday before bedtime.

Brittany, who co-owns the NWSL’s KC Current along with her husband, opened up on her life in the spotlight during a recent Q&A on Instagram, explaining what it’s like to be the wife of an NFL star, as well as a mother of two children.

And one of the things that she has to put up with on a night basis is her high school sweetheart lying next to her and eating Doritos ‘every night in bed’.

Brittany also went into full details as to how she’s had to adapt to her quarterback husband’s rise to stardom since he first won a Super Bowl, three years ago with the Chiefs. 

For instance, when asked multiple times if she can go out and grocery shop just like ‘regular people’ do, Brittany said, ‘I can by myself. But with Patrick we have to make special arrangements anywhere we go.’ 

The Mahomes, both 28, have been married since May 2022 and share two children together

As a matter of fact, the couple doesn’t run its own errands. 

‘Our chef does it for us now…,’ Brittany wrote, adding that she would go ‘nuts’ when she would grocery shop because she would buy too much. 

The former soccer player, who runs her own fitness business, further revealed that she shops for all of her clothes online nowadays. 

And if there’s one thing that she learnt from living life in the limelight, it’s ‘that the world is wiiiiiiild,’ she wrote.  

Brittany, 28, also disclosed that she wouldn’t be receptive to the idea of doing a reality show with her family down the line. 

‘Nope not ever,’ said the social media influencer.

Asked if she’d  consider creating a reality TV show on her family, Brittany said ‘nope not ever’

The Mahomes family featured in Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ docuseries, which focused on Brittany and Patrick’s lives on and off the gridiron throughout the entire 2022 NFL season – along with Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and Eagles signal-caller Marcus Mariota. 

Brittany, who shares two children with Mahomes, daughter Sterling, two, and son, Bronze, 10 months – was also asked some of her favorite NFL stadiums based on her experiences from traveling with the Chiefs. 

‘Arizona and San Fran have been the top two that are so helpful and accommodating,’ she wrote.

Mahomes and Brittany tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii in March 2022 but met in high school in Whitehouse, Texas. 

The Chiefs, who are the current reigning Super Bowl champs, face the Jaguars in Jacksonville in Week 2 on Sunday, September 17, after their season-opening loss to the Lions last Sunday.
