Pentagon says no proof to date of top secret UFO program

The Pentagon today said it had no proof to date of the top-secret UFOs retrieval program that a military whistleblower claims has discovered ‘a number’ of aircraft and ‘non human’ pilots, but that it will follow the investigation ‘wherever it leads.’

On Monday night, David Charles Grusch, an Air Force veteran and former member of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, made the astonishing, on-air claims  that the US and other nations are engaged in a top-secret arms race to ‘reverse-engineer’ alien technology, and that the US has recovered ‘quite a number’ of UFOs.

The House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation and intends to hold a hearing about the topic.

Grusch claims the government has been lying about the program for decades.

Today, the Pentagon denied knowing about such a program, but said it would follow the ‘data’.

‘To date, AARO has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extra-terrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.

‘AARO is committed to following the data and its investigation wherever it leads,’ Susan Gough, a Department of Defense spokesman, said.

AARO stands for All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the branch of the Pentagon that is tasked with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), but what others call UFOs.

Her denial of knowledge has little bearing on Grusch’s claims. Indeed, in his first comments, he acknowledged that very few at the DoD would have knowledge of the program.

Grusch told NewsNation on Monday of the agents involved: ‘These are retrieving non-human origin technical vehicles, call it spacecraft if you will, non-human exotic origin vehicles that have either landed or crashed.

‘I thought it was totally nuts and I thought at first I was being deceived, it was a ruse.

‘People started to confide in me. Approach me. I have plenty of senior, former, intelligence officers that came to me, many of which I knew almost my whole career, that confided in me that they were part of a program.

‘Naturally, when you recover something that’s either landed or crashed. Sometimes you encounter dead pilots and believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it’s true.’

Speaking at the Capitol yesterday, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep James Comer told NewsNation: ‘There will be a hearing on it, there will be oversight.’

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla) and Rep. Tim Burchett (Rep-Tenn) will lead the investigation.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, the committee’s spokesman said the move was prompted not just by the whistleblower’s comments, but other reports that ‘continue to surface regarding unidentified aerial phenomena.’

‘The House Oversight Committee is following these UAP reports and is in the early stages of planning a hearing.

‘The National Defense Authorization Act for 2022 created the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office which coordinates among the Department of Defense, the intelligence community, NASA, and other federal agencies to study UAPs.

‘Americans, who continue to fund this federal government work, expect transparency and meaningful oversight from Congress,’ he said.

Grusch filed his report in July last year. At the time, the Intelligence Community Inspector General called the complaint ‘urgent and credible.’

‘There is a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the U.S. populace which is extremely unethical and immoral,’ he said, accusing the US government of lying to the public for ‘decades’.

‘We are most definitely not alone,’ he said, adding that ‘quite a number’ of aircraft have been discovered.

In his debut Twitter show last night, ousted Fox News host Tucker Carlson said he didn’t know why the subject wasn’t leading the news cycle.

‘In a normal country, this news would qualify as a bombshell: the news of the millennium. But in this country, it doesn’t count.’

Carlson accused The Washington Post and New York Times of ignoring the story.

‘There was nothing at all about how an alien species is flying hypersonic aircraft above our cities. Not one word.’

He said: ‘So if you are wondering why our country seems so dysfunctional, this is a big part of the reason. Nobody knows what’s happening.

‘A small group of people control access to all relevant information, and the rest of us don’t know.’
