Sian Welby has admitted she is finding giving up alcohol ‘so much harder than I ever expected’ during her pregnant.
The Capital presenter, 37, is expecting her first child with her fiancé Jake Beckett, with the couple jetting off to Tenerife for a holiday after Roman Kemp’s departure from the radio show.
Sharing an insight into their holiday on Instagram on Wednesday, Sian, who is 29 weeks pregnant, uploaded a photo of Jake enjoying a glass of white wine.
She captioned the post: ‘Not drinking on this holiday is so much harder than I ever expected’.
The NHS recommends if you’re pregnant or planning to become pregnant you should not drink alcohol.

Drinking in pregnancy can lead to long-term harm to the baby, with the more you drink, the greater the risk.
The presenter also showed off her blossoming baby bump in a holiday look book to showcase maternity style.
Sian titled the video ‘Maternity Holiday Outfit Ideas’ and her first outfit was a bright orange, black and blue trouser and crop top set.
The second bikini was tiered and off-white with super-thin straps and showed off just a bit of Sian’s bump.
The Capital presenter announced her pregnancy live on the station in February.
She is expecting her first child with her fiancé Jake Beckett. Sian said at the time: ‘I think I want to share something with the group right now, actually.
‘Seriously, guys: got a bit of an announcement for you. I’m pregnant! I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep it from you for this long, but I am, it’s not a joke.’
Sian became engaged to Heart Radio producer Jake during a romantic holiday to Greece in 2023.

Former co-host Roman has been replaced with Jordan North who previously hosted on BBC Radio 1.
Sian also regularly hosts This Morning and was a favourite to replace Holly Willoughby before Cat Deeley was chosen.
The star started her career as a Channel 5 weather girl before moving onto and Heart FM and the BBC.
She will return to Capital Radio on Monday.
