Rachael Finch reveals the one beauty trick she uses every day

It’s hard to believe model and mother-of-two Rachael Finch has ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

But even the flawless 29-year-old admits she doesn’t always look picture perfect from the get-go, and occasionally needs a helping hand in the beauty department.

One of her favourite tips is using a toothbrush to keep flyaway eyebrow hairs at bay, combing the fine feature upwards to give her a look of wakefulness.

But even the flawless 29-year-old admits she doesn’t always look picture perfect from the get-go, and occasionally needs a helping hand in the beauty department

‘I find brushing my eyebrows with a toothbrush [to be a good trick] as I find the size and shape to be perfect,’ she told Body and Soul.

While the hack is enough to get you started, she has some other ways of treating herself – even when she’s in a rush with the kids.

She puts her signature look and flawless complexion down to ‘using volumising or texture powder on dirty hair, never going to bed with make up on, eating real food and plenty of food fats like avocado, nuts, fish and oils and limiting stress.’

Texturising sprays like VO5 Give Me Texture Dry, Goldwell Style Sign Texturiser, Oribe Dry and TLW I’m Really Busy Volume Spritz are products known for giving you that extra oomph in the hair department.

As for eating real food, Rachael is a big fan of salmon and tuna poke bowls, which she ate for energy while presenting during the Australian Open this year.

Eating healthy fats also has the added benefit of being good for your skin, with foods like nuts, oils and seeds able to promote an anti-inflammatory response in the body.

When it’s time for Rachael to relax at the end of a day she does so by either exercising – she has her own online dance studio – or by meditating.

‘Meditation is my go-to whenever I feel the need to calm my mind. Even spending just five minutes has a huge impact. My other favourites include taking a bath, getting a massage or diving in the ocean,’ she said.
