Rebel Wilson was spotted greeting Olympic sprinter Cathy Freeman at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday.

The actress, 39, arrived at the Rod Laver Arena to watch the women’s semi-final match between Australian Ash Barty and American Sofia Kenin.

She looked elegant in an emerald green collared dress with long sleeves that showcased her trimmer figure.

Rebel was making her way to her seat in between Tennis Australia President Jayne Hrdlicka and a male friend.

But the Pitch Perfect star noticed Cathy sitting a few seats further in the row and approached her to say hello and share a hug.

The gold medallist, who looked stylish in a white blazer, beamed and warmly embraced her back.

She cheered on Ash Barty, who is the first Australian woman to reach the semi-finals of the Australian Open since Wendy Turnbull in 1984.

He revealed to E! that the blonde beauty has a personalised workout program. 

Jono said that Rebel does high-intensity interval training (HIIT), mobility, weights, resistance, technique and tempo – and has only one day of rest.

‘Rebel and I are just focusing on enjoying training and getting the body moving,’ he added.
