A DIY expert has revealed how to make an incredible stacked pot plant garden for those who have small backyards.

Brooke Styles, from Queensland, is known for sharing simple, creative project ideas to thousands on social media.

In a recent video, she demonstrated how to make the vertical pot plant garden using four ceramic pots of different sizes, a garden stake, soil and flowers.

‘Did your grandparents ever have one of these in their backyard? They are so easy to make,’ she said in the clip.

The incredible end result is the perfect way to fill empty spots in the garden or backyard.

'Did your grandparents ever have one of these in their backyard? They are so easy to make,' Brooke said in the clip

'All you have to do is dig a garden stake into a large sized garden pot then thread through a smaller size pot and lean it on an angle,' she said

The clip swiftly received more than 36,000 views, leaving TikTok users impressed and inspired.

How to make a stacked pot plant garden

What you’ll need: 

  • 1 x garden stake
  • 1 x large garden pot
  • 3 x small garden pots (with drainage holes)
  • Plants and potting mix

Method:

Fill the large garden pot with potting mix

Dig the garden stake into the soil

Thread a small sized pot onto the stake through the hole at the bottom

Secure it in place by adjusting and patting down the soil

Continue to stack more pots and alternate the angle
