Samantha Armytage goes makeup free as she and husband Richard Lavender arrive back in Australia after South American holiday

A fresh-faced Sam Armytage and her husband Richard Lavender were spotted at Sydney Airport on Monday as the couple returned from their South American holiday.

The veteran TV presenter, 47, looked effortlessly stylish in a black and white striped top which she paired with navy pants and New Balance sneakers.

The blonde beauty accessorised with a white baseball cap with a horse head logo and had her hands full with a bag of Arandu designer clothing and a smartphone.

Samantha showcased her natural beauty by going makeup free for the outing and was all smiles as she chatted to her equestrian businessman husband.

At one point, Sam took off her baseball cap and tied her blonde tresses back in a bun as she collected her belongings.

The pair married at his home around midday, and then moved to a luncheon at the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral.

It’s said to have been an intimate ceremony with a ‘small number of guests’ due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Richard’s daughters Sasha and Grace and Sam’s beloved dog Banjo believed to be in attendance.

Sam took over hosting duties for Farmer Wants A Wife this year, replacing Natalie Gruzlewski – who still appeared on the show in a diminished role.

Within the first 15 minutes of the show, Natalie, 46, was only featured in several frames, where she interviewed past couples, while Samantha was heavily featured as she introduced the new contestants.

Sam joined the dating show as a ‘guest host’ last year, but her minor role has now been expanded while Natalie is ‘scaling back’ her duties.

Natalie presented her own segment called ‘Nat’s Getaway’ during the 2023 season, with Sam ‘front and centre’ as the face of the franchise.

An insider told New Idea recently that Sam had successfully won over network executives by transferring her presenting skills to the reality TV realm.
