‘[The] officers told him he was under arrest, wouldn’t give a reason and didn’t believe who he said he was,’ Mr Glavimans posted.

‘So a kid tells them to f**k off and he ends up in hospital with a foot so smashed up from stomping on it that worst-case scenario he loses it.

‘I’m pretty sure if I was to do this to a child I’d be in jail.’

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said they approached a teenager at the station who they believed was a suspect in relation to criminal damage.

‘The 16-year-old provided [Protective Services Officers] with a false name before trying to run away.

‘The teen jumped down a number of steps on to the platform, where he sustained an ankle injury.

‘PSO members secured the teen and he was subsequently handcuffed and conveyed to hospital by ambulance to have his ankle treated.

‘The 16-year-old is assisting police with enquiries.’

Victoria Police acknowledged the footage may be confronting but they said it ‘only provides a small part of the whole incident’.
