Sky News presenter Laura Jayes and husband Alex Hart list their Bondi home for $3million

Sky News presenter Laura Jayes and her husband, former Channel Seven journalist Alex Hart, are selling their single-storey Bondi Beach home.

The couple have listed the three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage with celebrity real estate guru Gavin Rubinstein of Lux Listings Sydney for $2.8-$3million.

Jayes, 38, and Hart bought the classic semi, built in 1910, in May 2021 for $3.05million.

The couple had planned a lavish renovation worth $1.36million, reports the Daily Telegraph.

But now the couple are selling the 280sqm property after Waverley council approved the elaborate reno back in September.

Included in the development approval were plans to add a second storey and a pool, as well as lift access via an internal passageway.

Other highlights of the Old World charmer, include a big backyard, large living areas and a sun room overlooking the street.

The kitchen has Caesarstone kitchen and gas cook top, while two of the spacious bedrooms feature built-in wardrobes.

It comes after Jaynes and Hart sold their last Bondi Beach home for $3.8milllion in March 2021, after buying it for $ 2.59million in 2017.

The three-bedroom, single bathroom spread was originally listed for $3.2million.

Hart recently left his 17-year network career as a TV journalist after landing a job with road management company, Transurban.

Meanwhile, Jayes, who married Hart in 2015, is a regular presenter on Sky News.
