Stassi Schroeder is facing backlash after allegedly criticizing the #MeToo campaign on her podcast.

Several sponsors have backed out of supporting the 29-year-old reality personality’s show, Straight Up With Stassi, after being made aware of the Vanderpump Rules star’s comments.

In a now deleted tweet, the Bravo persona defended herself, saying ‘Hold up. There is ZERO bashing’ while also explaining that she was being misinterpreted and had ‘the best intentions’ with the episode.

The episode in question was titled Are We On A Male Witch Hunt? and has since been deleted.

Listeners reached out to sponsors of the podcast on Twitter, alleging the waitress-turned-reality star of mocking people accusing men of sexual assault or harassment.

Some followers also addressed their comments to Lisa Vanderpump, who is both the star and executive producer of Vanderpump Rules.

Rent The Runway was one of the first sponsors to pull their advertisements from the podcast.

Addressing the controversy, the company tweeted: ‘We’re shocked by @stassi’s comments re the #metoo campaign.

‘It goes against everything RTR stands for as a company and has publicly advocated.

The brand, which rents designer clothes and accessories, continued: ‘Our 1st ads were slated to run on Mon but effective immediately we’ve terminated our relationship with her podcast.’

Stassi tweeted in her defense, first writing: ‘Hold up. There is ZERO bashing, & I repeat myself 3726 times how I feel the whole media frenzy has taken away from the victims who were truly assaulted.

‘You may be misinterpreting my point, because we had the best intentions w/ this episode,’ she continued in the now deleted response.

Later she took to Twitter to accuse some of taking her comments out of context writing: ‘About 5 ppl heard this podcast & everyone else read ONE quote without the backstory or context of a TWO hour episode.’
