A man has been rushed to hospital after he impaled his knee on a fence.
The 68-year-old was working on a roof in inner Sydney on Thursday morning when he fell three metres and impaled himself.
Emergency services were alerted and raced to the scene at Belmont Street, Waterloo about 9.15am.

The man was treated on site by paramedics and cut free, before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
Police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
