Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe shows off impressive new slimmer physique as he’s out of ICE custody and in Italy
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice looked slim and trim in a series of new shots seen on social media.
The reality star, 47, is back in Italy after he was granted permission to leave ICE custody and go there to work while his deportation situation stemming from his 2014 fraud conviction is hashed out.
Joe’s dad to daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10, with wife Teresa Giudice, 47, and Gia shared shots of him on social media upon his release.

Joe appeared healthy and happy in the images taken since his release. Gia shared an image of Joe alongside his brother Pete, writing: ‘so happy your together right now.. enjoy see you in a few weeks daddy.’
A source told People Sunday, ‘He’s much happier than he’s been the past few months,’ adding that his ‘mood has changed too.’
The family remains hopeful federal authorities will permit Joe back into the United States after federal authorities ordered his deportation due to ‘a crime of moral turpitude’ or ‘aggravated felony’ following his guilty plea to mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud charges in 2014. (He was born in Saronno, Italy and brought to the states as a toddler, but never applied to be a U.S. citizen.)
‘No one wants this as their new normal,’ the source said. ‘Teresa, the girls, and Joe all want Joe home in Jersey. They’re praying he wins his appeal to come back.’

Amid the uncertainty, Teresa has been ‘is great spirits’ with fingers crossed for the hopeful return of her spouse, the source said.
‘She’s very happy that Joe’s out of ICE and grateful that her girls can FaceTime him to see him and talk to him so easily now,’ the insider told the publication. ‘The kids have missed their father so much and now that he’s free, it feels like a weight has been lifted off them. They’re ready to turn the page and start this new chapter.’

She and her daughters have been ‘planning a visit to see him in Italy soon,’ as ‘reuniting as a family is going to be a special moment,’ the source told People.
Joe’s attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told the magazine Friday that Joe was ‘extremely happy to be released’ from ICE custody – where he’s been held since March after finishing his prison sentence – and that they will continue to battle the deportation order.
