Joel Creasey left his Project co-host Lisa Wilkinson in giggles after mocking the Today show.
The comedian, 29, poked fun at an on-air gaffe made by Today host Georgie Gardener, who was seemingly unaware of American singer Lizzo.
On Friday’s episode of The Project, Joel said: ‘To anyone who doesn’t think the Today show is down with the kids, let me assure you are wrong.’

‘Thank you, Lizzie,’ Georgie said before correcting herself: ‘Lizzo, isn’t it?’
She added: ‘We’re doing well, keeping up with the peeps.’

Joel quipped: ‘Oh yeah! G and D, down with the peeps.’
As Lisa threw to a break the former Today show breakfast host giggled at the comedian’s joke.
The hilarious moment comes two years after Lisa defected from the Channel Nine morning show following a pay dispute with the network.

At the time, The Daily Telegraph reported that Lisa was only being paid $1.2 million, while Karl was making between $2 to $3 million.
Following Karl’s late 2018 departure from the breakfast show, the network employed Deborah Knight and Georgie Gardner to step in and take over.
However, the new look Today show’s ratings plummeted with audience numbers as low as 174,000 throughout most of the past year.
