An Australian skincare brand adored by actress Hilary Duff has caught the attention of shoppers across the country with a $45.95 face serum that promises to enhance skin brightness overnight.

The Luna Bronze Good Night Face Bronze Serum has quickly become one of the brand’s cult-favourite products with a strong waitlist of more than 10,000 people and has sold out three times.

Made with natural antioxidants, including lemon myrtle and wattleseed, the ‘magic’ serum claims to hydrate and nourish the skin as you sleep to provide an effortless natural glow in the morning.

The natural bronzing serum is a suitable alternative to using tanning drops or tanning mousse on your face.

The Australian-made product, available at Mecca, can be used by mixing two to four drops with your favourite night cream or applying directly to your skin.

The more drops used will deepen the effect of the serum.

The vitamin-rich ingredients can assist with inflammation, aging and wrinkles while promoting better hydration.

Vitamin C will help lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots to even out the skin tone.

‘It is difficult to put the success of Good Night down to one factor,’ Rhiannon Mitchell, director and co-founder of Luna Bronze, told 7Lifestyle.

‘But we believe that the convenience of incorporating the serum into your nightly skincare routine and waking up to glowing skin before your morning coffee is one of the main reasons along with powerhouse antioxidant ingredients that work whilst you sleep.’

She added how the product sold out 37 days after launching in the US and Canada.

On the Luna Bronze website the product has received an average rating of 4.8 stars out of five with hundreds of positive reviews from happy customers.

‘I am a very pasty, freckled ginger who can not tan to save my life…I stumbled upon Luna Bronze on Instagram and fell in love with the ingredients in the night serum. I found the magical drop number for me is four drops and I get a beautiful, soft tanned glow,’ one customer wrote.

‘This is my all time favourite tanning product. So easy to apply before bedtime, and I wake up with the best natural looking glow. Feels great on skin too,’ another said.

A third added: ‘If you want to wake up with a b-e-a-utiful glow, then do yourself a favour and start using this face serum.’

Earlier this year in July, US actress Hilary Duff praised the brand’s tanning moisturiser on her Instagram story.

‘Everyone keeps saying, “You’re tan!” and I’m like, “I know”,’ she wrote.
