A thunderstorm is set to hit Sydney during the rush-hour commute with heavy rain and strong winds expected to lash the city.
Rain is expected to hit heavily on Tuesday, but coastal areas of Sydney set for between four and 15mm on Monday.
The downpours will get stronger towards the end of Tuesday and will then increase in intensity on Wednesday as a wet weather system moves across the city, the Daily Telegraph reported.
