A one-year-old girl was sent flying when a thug kicked her from behind as he walked through a shopping mall.

She was wandering around Xingcheng Shopping Center in Shenzhen, China with her grandmother, 57, a few steps behind when the stranger kicked her legs out from behind.

The incident on August 28 was caught on camera and has been watched nearly five million times in 24 hours.

The shocked grandmother ran to check on the little girl and confront the man but she said he threatened her with violence and so was forced to let him walk away

The man in the striped polo shirt walks up to the toddler standing next to a pillar in the mall and kicks her, sending her sprawling across the floor.

The shocked grandmother runs across to check on her granddaughter and then confronts the man.

He turns around and says something to her and she decides to check on the one-year-old. 

She said the man threatened her with violence which forced her to let him walk away.

None of the other witnesses are thought to have intervened and the girl’s family later posted the footage online in hopes of finding the man.
