Tom Brady declines to join ex-Patriots Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola poolside after getting invitation on Instagram: ‘I think you’ve got enough shirtless dudes’

A trio of Tom Brady’s favorite teammates invited him for some hang time, only to be firmly rejected on the grounds that theirs was a bit of a sausage party.

The invitation was extended by former New England Patriots receivers Julian Edelman, 37, and Danny Amendola, 38, as well as 34-year-old retired tight end Rob Gronkowski, all of whom appeared shirtless in a video that was shared on social media.

‘[Where you at] @Tombrady’ read the caption from Edelman’s Instagram account alongside footage of the trio listening to P. Diddy’s ‘Bad Boy for Life.’

Brady responded in kind, posting his own half-naked, self-shot Instagram video.

‘Nice pool fellas, but I think you’ve got enough shirtless dudes at your party,’ Brady said.

The 46-year-old single father of three is enjoying his first year of retirement after ending his 23-year NFL career – and 13-year marriage to Gisele Bundchen – within the last 15 months.

He has remained active in business, promoting his health brand and buying minority stakes in an English soccer team, Birmingham City, and a WNBA team, the defending-champion Las Vegas Aces. He also plans to begin announcing next season for Fox Sports, which already employs Gronkowski on its NFL pregame show.

Brady, who is rumored to be dating model Irina Shayk, has been building a $17 million mansion on Indian Creek Island, where he and Bundchen once planned to live together with their two children, Benjamin and Vivian. The couple even tore down a pre-existing 5,772-square foot home to make room for their new mansion, but before it could be erected, the two divorced earlier this year and Bundchen moved on to buy her own property across the waterway.
