Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson made a handsome couple as they stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday to celebrate Rita’s 67th birthday.
Tom, also 67, looked dapper in a black blazer and shirt tucked into a pair of belted black trousers.
The Forrest Gump icon added a pair of onyx Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses to the sleek look.
Rita matched her longtime husband as she slipped into a sleeveless black dress for the special occasion.
Like her husband, she also shielded her eyes in a pair of glossy black shades — hers large and square-shaped.

The mother-of-two pulled her long blonde highlighted locks into a neat, low ponytail anchored with a center part.
She added black gladiator-style sandals to her outfit, showing off a vampy pedicure which matched her short manicure.
The songstress carried a black purse with silver-toned chain trim and chain straps.
Tom’s ensemble was rounded out with a pair of black leather Chelsea boots.
The couple looked happy as they stepped out sans their adult children Chet Hanks, 33, and Truman Hanks, 27.
It comes three months after Rita paid tribute to Tom on his 67th birthday with a thoughtful post on Instagram.
Sharing with her 1.1 million followers, she wrote, ‘Happy Birthday to this man who is my lover, my best friend, my family, the father of my children.’
She added: ‘He loves a typewriter just slightly less than me, (why is there no typewriter emoji?) invents cocktails like Diet Cokecaine ( Diet Coke mixed with Champagne) or a Cokearita (Diet Coke mixed with margarita), DJs regularly on @bossradio66, is happiest being surround by his family and friends, and has committed to telling the stories of veterans and has created his own coffee brand supporting veterans, @givehanx Hanx for our Troops.’

The pair met back in 1981 while co-starring on a show called Bosom Buddies.
At the time Hanks was still married to his first wife, Samantha Lewes, whom he was with from 1978-1987.
They share a son and daughter, Colin Hanks, 45, and Elizabeth Hanks, 40.
