An adorable video that captures a man’s heartwarming reaction to finding out he is going to attend a Lady Gaga concert has gone viral.

The clip, which was shared online by 20-year-old Whitney, from Cincinnati, Ohio shows her 66-year-old grandfather Jim, who lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, reacting to his wife, Mary-Beth, telling him she has tickets for them to see the pop star perform live in Las Vegas.

And since the sweet clip was shared to Twitter on Friday, June 28, it has racked up a whopping 330,000 likes, as users gush over Jim’s incredible reaction, which saw him getting excited when he heard the good news.

The clip showed Jim, who works as a business insurance adviser, sitting in a chair in what appeared to be his backyard, while Mary-Beth, filmed him.

‘Okay, here we go,’ his wife is heard saying. ‘I need to know if you have anything on your calendar for May 7 of next year.’

As Jim stared at her with a sweet smile on his face, she added: ‘Can you look at your calendar?’

He proceeded to take out his phone, and opened up his calendar.

‘May 7 of 2020?’ he asked his wife as he scrolled through his calendar.

‘May seventh – that’s a Thursday. I’m booked all day,’ he added, as he started to giggle.

Mary-Beth responded, saying: ‘With what? What about the evening? Are you booked at 8 p.m.?’

As he looked through his calendar, he said: ‘8 p.m. on the seventh, on a Thursday night in May? No, I think I’m open.’

After verifying that he would be free on the date, Mary-Beth asked Jim if she would like to go to see a show.

‘Would you like to go to a concert maybe on that evening?’ she asked him.

Shocked! After discovering that he will be free on the day, Mary-Beth is heard asking him if he would like to go to a concert in Las Vegas that day, before Jim says: 'Gaga?'

All of sudden, Jim’s facial expression dropped, as he began to realize what Mary-Beth had arranged. He was seen staring up at her with a shocked expression on his face.

‘Maybe in Las Vegas?’ she added. Meanwhile, Jim’s mouth opened in shock, and he said: ‘Gaga?’

Mary-Beth was heard bursting into a fit of laughter as Jim finally realized that he would be seeing Lady Gaga in concert.

‘Oh my gosh,’ he said. ‘I just got goosebumps.’ Jim then began laughing, while his wife was also heard laughing in hysterics in the background of the clip.

Whitney, who works as a graphic designer, captioned the now viral video, writing: ‘My grandpas face when he found out we were seeing Lady Gaga I can’t he’s so pure he loves her so much.’

She said her grandmother Mary-Beth is responsible for buying the tickets to the show.

Whitney explained that her grandfather first became a fan of the 33-year-old singer after seeing her perform a duet some years ago.

‘He says that years ago he saw a duet she had done and that’s what really got him hooked, but he hasn’t been able to remember what duet it was,’ Whitney said.

‘He just knows it wasn’t the Tony Bennett stuff,’ Whitney added.

However, according to Access, the pair have since received an invitation to one of Lady Gaga’s shows in October.
