Will Smith faces humiliation as Jada Pinkett Smith ex-lover August Alsina references ‘entanglement’

Will Smith faces further humiliation amid his Oscars slap controversy, as the man who had an affair with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith is speaking out in a new song and rumored tell-all book.

Jada, 50, famously referred to the years-long affair with R&B singer August Alsina, 29, as an ‘entanglement’ which now features as a timely reference in his brand new track ‘Shake the World.’

‘Well, of course some s**t is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world’s favorite,’ August is heard singing in a snippet that he teased on Monday via his Instagram page.

Jada admitted to having an affair with August in 2020, and even had Will on her talk show Red Table Talk to discuss it in front of the world last year.

It’s also been reported that August – who was 27 at the time of the affair with Jada – is set to write a tell-all book that will go into detail over their sex life.

‘August is getting ready to sign a big money book deal which will detail his romantic liaisons with Jada,’ a source claims to The Sun.

‘He has always maintained that Will gave him permission to sleep with Jada, something they have publicly denied.’

The source adds: ‘August will go into detail about his time with Jada and will also speak about how he spent time living in homes owned by Will when he was away filming.’

Last year, Will confirmed that he and Jada have an open relationship, admitting that she has ‘never believed in a conventional marriage’ while promoting his own memoir.

The couple made headlines in July 2020 when they addressed Jada’s affair with August on her candid talk show Red Table Talk.

Jada denied his claim that Will had given his blessing over the affair and claimed they were separated at the time.

But Jada had initially denied August’s claims they were an item, until she eventually confessed saying ‘there’s some healing that needs to happen… so I’m bringing myself to the Red Table.’

The Girls Trip actress used a similar ‘healing’ line when she broke her silence regarding Will slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Despite laughing about the incident, and going on to party the night away at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Jada posted the following day: ‘This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.’

Meanwhile, Will continues to face the consequences over his assault of Chris Rock, with rumors that his agency CAA are divided over whether to ditch the actor.

According to an account of the incident’s aftermath in The Daily Beast, a furious debate took place within the agency over whether Smith should be dropped.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Jada ‘wishes’ Will ‘didn’t get physical’ with Chris, but isn’t ‘angry with’ her husband.

The pair – who married in 1997 and have two children together Willow, 21, and Jaden, 23 – are apparently ‘in agreement’ that Smith ‘overreacted.’

Speaking to Us Weekly, a unnamed insider said: ‘It was in the heat of the moment and it was him overreacting.

‘He knows that, she knows that. They’re in agreement that he overreacted.’

They also alleged that Pinkett Smith is ‘not a wallflower’, nor ‘one of these women that needs protecting’.

‘He didn’t need to do what he did,’ they added.

The US Weekly source also said that that the couple ‘are very much protected in their own lives and do the absolute best they can to protect their loved ones’.
