WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has gone viral on social media for calling out a fan during a WWE Live event in Miami, Florida.

Rollins is used to making waves around the internet for his wrestling or even for ringside antics while fans sing his song during his latest championship run, however this time the Heavyweight champion was calling out a fan in the crowd.

While taking the microphone following his win over Finn Balor, Rollins took the time to air his grievances with a fan sitting ringside, after the spectator reportedly called him a ‘fake a** champion.’

‘Being a fighting champion is taking its toll on me. I have one guy over here, that guy right there is calling me a fake a** champion,’ Rollins said before pausing and allowing the crowd to unleash a chant of ‘beat his a**.’

‘I am here in your city, sweating buckets, bleeding my own blood. I am far from a fake-a** champion. I am a fighting champion because you guys deserve a champion that’s gonna show up, a champion that’s gonna sweat buckets, a champion that’s gonna bleed his own blood.’

‘You deserve The Visionary, you deserve The Revolutionary, you deserve the world champion Seth [Freakin Rollins].’

Rollins referring to himself as a ‘fighting champion’ may be interpreted as a shot at the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who has held the company’s most prestigious belts hostage over the past three years while working only a part-time schedule.

Since winning the newly reinstated Heavyweight Championship 65 days ago at WWE’s Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia in a match against ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles, Rollins has defended the belt a total of 17 times across various WWE events.

Though it remains unknown the exact reasons the fan referred to Rollins as a ‘fake a** champion,’ it could have been a dig at WWE creating a new ‘main title’ after backing itself into a corner by allowing Reigns to hold the previous two ‘main titles’ as previously mentioned.

Reigns’ belts were eventually unified into the new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as a way to cut down the number of prestigious titles but as this incident shows that attempt has not won over the entire fan base.
