A New York man accused of waiting outside of model Bella Hadid’s home and then screaming her name as she was rushed inside made an appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday.

Brian Perez, 37, was charged with harassment and stalking after he showed up to Hadid’s Tribeca home in February.

According to court documents, Perez had posted a disturbing video on Instagram on February 7 asking the 21-year-old model if she wanted him to come over.

‘You want me to come? I’m going to come there now,’ he reportedly said, according to the New York Daily News.

‘Please don’t make me come all the way down there and then there’s a situation with your security or something.’

Perez, who lives in the Bronx, then showed up to Hadid’s building. As security rushed her inside, he shouted her name.

The following day, Perez posted another video saying: ‘You know you could have gotten me in trouble yesterday’.

Hadid called the police and had Perez arrested. He has been allegedly staking her since December 2017.

During a court appearance last month, prosecutors suggested Perez accept a plea deal to avoid jail time. If he pleaded guilty to the charges, he would get time-served and an order of protection would be made for Hadid.

Perez refused the deal telling the judge that he believed he had a strong motion to dismiss the charges.
