Baz Luhrmann and wife Catherine Martin look more loved-up than ever as they continue their holiday in Paris

Baz Luhrmann and wife Catherine Martin are currently enjoying the sights and tastes of Paris as they holiday in the French capital.

And it seem the city of love is working its magic on the famous director, 61, and his Oscar-winning wife, 58, on Tuesday.

Baz took to Instagram to share a tender moment of the couple lovingly gazing into each other’s eyes as they stood before an ornate blue door.

The couple, who have been married since 1997, are currently on vacation with daughter, Lilly, 20.

‘Time to stop hanging out in Paris and get back on the creative road,’ Baz captioned the post of the pair.

It comes after the pair put their stunning New York Gilded Age townhouse on the market for $28 million.

The Australian couple initially listed the property last year for $31million and was also listed for rent for $117,000 per month.

The couple purchased the 790sqm home back in 2017 for $21million.

Luhrmann and Martin’s reason for selling is to return home to Australia and set up their main base.

‘Since the pandemic and making the movie Elvis in Australia, our work has kept us mostly away from our New York City base,’ Luhrmann told New York Post’s Gimme Shelter.

‘We shot Elvis entirely on the Gold Coast in Queensland and will continue to develop shows to be shot there.

The couple will potentially downsize back home.

The filmmaker said they’re ‘becoming empty nesters’ as their children – Lilly and son William, 18 – get older.

‘Our enormous, beautiful family house seems very quiet without our children,’ Luhrmann added.

The property, originally built in 1852, boasts six spacious bedrooms, five bathrooms, two powder rooms and five fireplaces.
