Chelsea Clinton shows off her bump after celebrating her son’s birthday with Bill and Hillary

Chelsea Clinton’s due date is getting closer by the day, but it was business as usual for the heavily-pregnant mom who was seen making her way to New York University on Wednesday, after celebrating her son’s birthday with her family the day before.

The 39-year-old’s parents Bill and Hillary Clinton seemed to have a great time at three-year-old Aidan’s birthday bash on Tuesday evening, with the former first lady leaving the party held at the Children’s Museum of the Arts with her face painted.

Chelsea, who is due to give birth this summer, covered her baby bump with a trench coat when she and her family headed home in the rain that night, but it was on show when she stepped out the next morning.

The Clinton Foundation vice chair was dressed in a billowy tunic on Wednesday, though it did little to conceal her growing stomach that jutted out from her small frame.

She paired her patterned white blouse and skinny jeans with sensible nude wedges, a departure from her beloved nude pumps.

Chelsea has been wearing her nude heels for years; however, they have a much higher heel and are likely too uncomfortable for her to wear now that she is so far along in her pregnancy.

It looks like the expectant mom has found a similar nude wedge to replace her favorite shoes in the last weeks of her pregnancy.

The children’s book author wore her dark blonde hair loose around her shoulders and covered her head with a sporty red and gray baseball cap featuring a logo for Galena Lodge in Ketchum, Idaho.

She was seen wearing the same hat the day after Halloween last November, likely right around the time she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky, 41, learned she was pregnant with their third child.

Chelsea has yet to reveal her exact due date, but based on the timing of her pregnancy announcement in late January, she is likely to give birth some time in July or August.

It’s unclear if her cap was an attempt to go incognito on the cloudy spring day in the Big Apple, but she appeared to be in good spirits as she walked to NYU.

Chelsea had a small smile on her face as she made her way through the city streets carrying her maroon leather tote — a favorite of hers as of late — in her right hand.

The only other accessory she had on was a $119 gold-plated intertwined circle necklace by Merci Maman. The personalized necklace is engraved with the names Charlotte and Aidan to represent her two eldest children.

It’s likely an exciting time for Charlotte, four, and Aidan, three, who are gearing up to welcome a little brother or sister into their family.

In celebration of Aidan’s birthday on Tuesday, Chelsea’s parents met their daughter and grandson at the Children’s Museum of the Arts, though it’s unclear if others joined them at the soiree or it was just his family.

Private birthday parties at the Children’s Museum of the Arts range from $700 to $1,700 depending on the number of guests, party package, and catering options.

According to the website, these celebrations include free time for the children to try out the museum’s interactive workshops as well as a private workshop with a teaching artist just for the party guests.

The festivities end with food and cake, and parents have the option of purchasing a personalized cake from Magnolia Bakery for an additional cost.

Little Aidan was seen leaving his birthday party carrying a Sesame Street umbrella alongside his mom, who helped guide him out.

The birthday boy was dressed casually in a striped shirt, jeans, and dark gray sneakers, which were perfect for running around and making art.

Chelsea, meanwhile, had on a khaki trench, dark skinny jeans, and her nude wedge heels. Her hair was pulled up in a pony to protect it from the rain, and she carried a large gray umbrella.

Bill, 72, and Hillary, 71, looked as happy as can be when they left the party venue with bright smiles on their faces.

The former president donned a brown suit and a bright yellow shirt for the occasion and was seen giving a thumbs up while flanked by his Secret Service detail.

Hillary was decked out in wildly patterned red, gray, and black coat, which she wore over classic black plants. She accessorized her look with black sneakers and silver bangles on her wrist.

She left carrying what looked like a blue plastic candy bag; however, it was the flower painted on her cheek that really stood out when she stepped outside after the bash.

It seems the former Secretary of State had such a good time at the party, she couldn’t resist getting her face painted before she left.

On the same night, the 2016 Democratic nominee’s former political foe President Donald Trump went after her at his 2020 campaign kickoff rally in Orlando, Florida.

He once again claimed she ‘acid washed’ her emails and slammed her for failing to deliver on her pledge to beat him, but she didn’t look like she had a care in the world as she left her grandson’s birthday party.

Chelsea makes it a point to keep her children out of the spotlight, but she tweeted about her son’s birthday on Tuesday — while hitting back at the Trump administration’s controversial immigration policy that led to children being separated from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

‘Aidan is now 3! We laughed a lot, did puzzles, sang Down By The Bay, read about dragons, ate too much cake and donated in his honor to @RAICESTEXAS & @ImmDef because no child should be taken from their family at the border, forced into concentration camps or die in U.S. custody,’ she wrote.

A Twitter user named Jake appeared to have criticized her message in a since-deleted tweet, prompting a response from Chelsea.

‘Hi Jake – I want my kids to grow up knowing we’re citizens every day, including on our birthdays,’ she wrote. ‘Thousands of kids separated from their families (the youngest 4 months old) and at least seven children dying in immigration custody since last year aren’t “political rhetoric.”‘
