Chelsea Clinton shows off her bump while strolling around New York

Chelsea Clinton showed off her large baby bump in a blue shirtdress while enjoying a stroll with her family in New York City on Sunday as she nears her due date.

The 39-year-old former first daughter, who is expecting her third child this summer, was joined by her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, 41, and their children, Charlotte, four, and son, Aidan, three.

Chelsea held onto her daughter with one hand and a small coffee cup in the other as Marc pushed their son in a stroller during the family outing in the Big Apple.

Maternity style: The 39-year-old donned a blue shirt dress, nude wedges, and a sporty yellow baseball cap. She held onto her daughter with one hand and her coffee with the other

The soon-to-be mother-of-three’s blue shirtdress was tied at the waist, which accentuated her stomach, and she had a fabric tote slung over her shoulder.

She donned a sporty yellow baseball cap to shield her eyes from the sun and a pair of sensible nude wedges, a departure from her beloved nude pumps that have likely become too uncomfortable for her in the final weeks of her pregnancy.

Marc, meanwhile, was dressed comfortably in a gray V-neck T-shirt and jeans. He had on glasses and a blue and orange Philadelphia 76ers cap.

Aidan, who was lounging in his stroller, sported a blue polo shirt, shorts, and funky tie-dye sneakers, while little Charlotte looked darling in a floral dress and pink slip-on sneakers as she walked alongside her mom.

Although Chelsea’s light brown locks have straightened over the years, it’s clear that her daughter has inherited her famous curls.

It’s unclear where the family was headed, but it appears as though the family made a pit stop during their walk so Chelsea could pick up a small coffee.

When it comes to coffee consumption during pregnancy, experts advise that expectant mothers do not consume more than 200mg of caffeine per day, which is equal to about one 12oz cup of coffee — the size that Chelsea was seen carrying.

Caffeine consumed during pregnancy crosses a woman’s placenta to her unborn baby, who cannot handle high amounts, according to the American Pregnancy Association. Expectant mothers are advised to consume only small amounts while carrying their child.

While one cup of coffee is understood to be perfectly acceptable, it is possible that she opted for a decaf coffee, just to be on the safe side.

Chelsea is in the last weeks of her pregnancy, but she doesn’t seem to be slowing down in the least bit.

She was seen out an about with her daughter on Saturday while enjoying a girls’ day.

The children’s book author beat the heat in a short-sleeve chambray tunic with an empire waist and black shorts.

She donned both a yellow baseball cap and sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sun, and she topped off the casual look with white sneakers and a fabric tote bag.

Charlotte had on a colorful tank dress over a pair of cropped white leggings, and she carried a small green bag from Doodle Doo’s, a children’s hair salon and toy store in Greenwich Village.

It’s unclear if Charlotte got a haircut on Saturday or they just stopped into the store to pick out a toy.

Despite being close to her due date, Chelsea has been seen stepping out multiple times this month, going on walks and attending events like she normally would.

She was seen walking with a friend on Friday wearing a simple yet elegant long-sleeve black dress that fit loosely over her growing stomach.

Chelsea carried her maroon tote in the crook of her elbow, and she didn’t appear to be wearing any jewelry aside from her diamond engagement ring.

The two women appeared to have made a coffee run at some point and were both seen carrying cups from Birch Coffee.

Chelsea had what looked like a small iced coffee, while her companion opted for a warm beverage on the perfect summer day in the Big Apple.
