An online shopper has been left shocked after CCTV footage captured a delivery driver throwing a parcel over her fence and running off.

Becci Dickinson, 32, had ordered a Phillips 6000 shaver worth £140 online for her husband Marc.

She had no idea the item had been delivered to her house, in Selby, North Yorkshire, until her husband brought the footage to her attention.

In the clip, taken at 4.08pm on June 28, a man in a high-vis jacket can be seen running across the rear of a neighbouring property towards her back gate.

After spending a few moments peeping his head over to scope the area – and making sure no one is watching – he throws the package several feet, out of view, and sprints away.

Ms Dickinson, an administrator, was astonished when she checked her outside cameras to see the delivery driver sneak up to her back gate.

She said: ‘I didn’t know it had been delivered. My husband checked CCTV and said there had been a delivery as he was waiting for something.

‘I was shocked that they’d not even attempted to knock or let me know they had been by leaving a card.’

In the clip, the hi-vis vest worn by the man clearly says ‘Yodel’.

However, a spokesman for the delivery company told MailOnline: ‘Yodel has checked its systems and can confirm that it made no deliveries to that postcode on that date.’

Ms Dickinson said: ‘It clearly says Yodel on his high-vis, which is why I went to them. We tried to report it but trying to report to Yodel is horrendous. You can’t speak to a human and all you get is, it was delivered.’
