Kate Upton shares pregnancy workout

Kate Upton is sporting a sizeable baby bump these days, but the curvaceous bikini model isn’t letting pregnancy stop her from hitting the gym hard.

The 26-year-old is still working out regularly, visiting her personal trainer Ben Bruno for what looks like a tough exercise regimen.

This week, Bruno shared video of the mom-to-be doing weighted hip thrusts — with the weight coming not from dumbbells but her own built-in extra weight.

It seems Kate has found that her little baby-to-be is a pretty good dumbbell substitute.

On Saturday, Bruno uploaded a video of Kate wearing green leggings and propped up on a workout bench doing hip thrusts.

The blonde model has an expertise band around her thighs, and while some might hold a weight in their lap for the move, Kate was pretty covered with her own bump.

Though she hasn’t revealed her due date yet, it appears from photos that she may be in her late second or early third trimester.

As Bruno’s camera rolls, Kate smiles through several thrusts and says, not all too convincingly, that it ‘feels great’.

To commiserate, the trainer decided to learn for himself just what it’s like for Kate to work out while pregnant — after after she finished, he added a weighted ball to his own stomach and did hip thrusts.

‘Sheesh,’ he said while trying the move. ‘Not to self: Do not get pregnant.’

Captioning the video, he added:  ‘I love that @kateupton is continuing to work hard during her pregnancy, but as a trainer it’s been interesting because I’ve always preached that you should never have clients do workouts that you haven’t tried yourself.

‘So, I gave it the old college try. I have an even greater respect for moms now,’ he said.

Many female commenters applauded his effort to better understand Kate’s needs while going through pregnancy.

Bruno clearly has fans for being so accommodating, and also has several other celebrity clients, including Chelsea Handler, Jessica Biel, and Caroline Wozniacki.

In August, Bruno uploaded another video of Kate exercising with a slightly smaller bump.

Kate first announced that she was expecting in mid-July, when she was already showing.

She told People that she ‘stopped working out for a month’ earlier in her pregnancy because she ‘was so tired and there was so much travel.’

‘But I’ve been completely trying to stay healthy and work out through the pregnancy, and doing the best I can. It makes me feel better, honestly,’ she said.

This is her first child with husband Justin Verlander, 35, who plays for the Houston Astros. The couple wed in November 2017 in Tuscany.
