Love Island star reveals wild discussion he had with Margot Robbie about genitalia which led to him landing a part in the Barbie movie

Love Island UK star Chris Taylor landed a role in Barbie after discussing genitalia with Margot Robbie.

Margot, 33, is a huge Love Island fan and offered former contestant Chris, 32, a part in her blockbuster after chatting to her about his friends’ micropenis.

He told OK! magazine: ‘So I basically went down the route of telling her about my mate who’s got a micropenis.

‘So I informed her of that, and we had a little chat about micropenises, which was lovely and quite funny. 

‘And then I went on to tell her about my dad’s mate whose balls are so big, he can carry 12 bottles of Budweiser on his ball sack like a tray. 

‘So I basically just pulled out the big guns, I thought I’ve got to make an impression and that’s what came out of my mouth… unfortunately.’ 

Chris’ conversation was clearly memorable as Margot later reached out to him about a part in the film.

This led to him being on set with Ryan Gosling, Ncuti Gatwa and Ben Kingsley, who all play different versions of Ken. 

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Chris praised Ncuti for making him feel comfortable on set. 

He said: ‘I met him when I did my fitting and I was really surprised he knew who I was. 

He’d watched Love Island and said really nice things, including that I should have won. 

‘He was just super easy to get on with, made me feel really at home and comfortable, because he knew I’m not an actor and was going to be nervous, so he came over and spoke to me a few times.’

Chris, 32, who previously dated Maura Higgins spoke about his movie role – which is a small cameo, while on the pink carpet of the Barbie premiere earlier this month. 

Having kept it a secret for two years, he told LadBible: ‘There is a bit of a backstory. The lads went to a premiere.

‘They met Margot [Robbie], and then afterwards Margot shouted them and said “Come to the after party!”, cause she’s obsessed with Love Island right.”

‘So then, I was living with the boys at the time, so I was like “I’m coming” and she knew who we all were. She watches the show.

‘So she comes up to me like “Chris!” and I’m like “what the f**k is going on?” I dunno, she must have just remembered me from then.’

Chris has said his part involves him saying one line, which is: ‘And the nobel prize for horses goes to Ken!’  

Back in 2018, Margot revealed her Love Island interest when she was likened to then-contestant Megan Barton Hanson – although she did not see the likeness. 

She admitted she ‘doesn’t see the resemblance’ to the glamour model, then-24, despite being a huge fan of the ITV2 reality show.

The actress addressed the comparisons with the villa vixen, but joked that she could never appear on Love Island because she’s a ‘crisp-eating fatty’. 

Margot said she and her husband, film producer Tom Ackerley, tune in every evening to watch the glamorous contestants battle it out for each other’s affections.

Margot is currently the Hollywood star of the moment as she continues to promote Barbie with co-star Ryan Gosling
