Man suffers facial injuries after road rage attack 

  • A man has been left bruised and battered after a road rage attack in Perth
  • The victim, in his 60s, drove himself to the police station following the incident

  • Police are appealing for anyone with information or footage to come forward 

A Perth man has been left bloodied and bruised after becoming the victim of a vicious road rage attack.

The man, in his mid 60s, was reportedly hit by a ‘flurry of punches’ from a driver after their cars connected around 1.30pm Tuesday in the city’s eastern suburbs.

Despite the serious nature of his injuries, the victim managed to drive himself to the police station to report the incident, according to 7News.

Officers at the station said the man appeared ‘shaken up’ but refused their offer to call an ambulance.

Photos show him with a swollen eye and blood running down his face from a series of cuts near his nose.

The attack was alleged to have taken place when the man and the assailant’s car’s were merging through traffic on Great Eastern Highway.

The victim said he did not get a good look at the perpetrator, with hopes members of the public can assist.

Police are urging the person responsible to turn themselves in.
