Megyn Kelly got her first chance to participate in the most hallowed of NBC morning show traditions on Tuesday, when she joined her fellow ‘Today’ hosts in dressing up for the show’s annual Halloween episode.

And the newest member of the team did not disappoint, appearing as celebrated Canadian crooner Shania Twain during the ‘Legends of Country’ themed spectacle.

Megyn dressed like Twain in the ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’ video, wearing a skin tight skirt and bustier, giant choker and miniature top hat.

She even lip synced a few bars of the legendary song into a mic much to the delight of the crowd.

When later asked how she felt to be all dressed up, Megyn said: ‘Every shred of my dignity is gone so I feel like I’m home.’

She also got a big surprise when the real Shania Twain appeared midway through the program.

‘This is really so fun. I spent all morning watching your videos all morning. And I still screwed it up,’ Kelly said to the Grammy-winning artist.

‘You were perfect,’ Twain assured Megyn.

The host then spoke about the benefits of her wardrobe.

‘Can I tell you, first time I’ve ever had a corset on, I highly recommend it,’ said Megyn.

‘The corset gives what three children take away.’

It was then revelaed that Twain, who was dressed like a cat, would later be appearing on Megyn’s show.
