An Instagram influencer charged with fleeing police during a high speed chase arrived in court this morning in a designer dress and outlandish sunglasses, before posing for pictures with the media.

Margarita Tomovska, 27, from Alfords Point in Sydney’s South, is accused of speeding away from police with an unrestrained toddler in the back seat of a Mercedes on November 13 last year.

Ms Tomovska first faced court on December 11 and before her second appearance at Wollongong local court today, she flaunted her outfit to her 63,000 Instagram followers, branding herself the ‘Mercedes Mum’.

Ms Tomovska shared her ensemble in an Instagram story prior to Tuesday morning’s trial, where she dared the media to ‘come at’ her.

The outfit consisted of a short, black-and-white striped dress by designer Balmain, a pair of diamond-encrusted Gucci sunglasses, Louboutin high heels and a Givenchy handbag.

In another Instagram story, the ‘Mercedes Mum’ shared a series of messages with her own mother where they had discussed arriving at the courthouse via helicopter.

Further posts include a picture of her cosying up to a Channel 7 cameraman, as well as a video of her singing with friends in a car some time after her trial with the caption: ‘0 f***s given’.

Ms Tomovska, was spotted by patrolling officers driving a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG in Helensburgh on the night of November 13.

Ms Tomovska was  driving a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG in Helensburgh on the night of November 13 when she was pulled over by police. It is alleged she then took off in her car with an unrestrained toddler in the back seat

She was pulled over before allegedly taking off in her car, which retails for about $260,000, at speeds of up to 200km/h with an unrestrained toddler in the back seat.

Ms Tomovska allegedly continued to drive for a further 10km north along the Pacific Motorway before she and another male passenger were finally caught.

The 27-year-old was arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station, where her licence was suspended.

She was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Woolongong court the following week and charged with police pursuit – not stop – drive dangerously and exceed speed by more than 45km/h.

Reports claim the case has been adjourned to February 19 to allow her solicitor to gather supporting material to the prosecution on one of the charges.
