  • When the officers decide to leave they are seen singing and dancing as they make their way back to their patrol car

A group of police officers from Texas who had been called to deal with a noise complaint were not able to resist the draw of a backyard party.

The three officers from Carrollton Texas Police Department, northwest of Dallas, arrived on the scene to investigate a ‘loud party complaint’.

At first the three responding Carrollton Police Department officers were reluctant to crash what they later learned was a graduation party, but within seconds of the trio arriving on the scene, a female party-goer manages to tempt one of the officers into the back and into to the heart of the celebration.

One officer can be heard on bodycam video saying, ‘I don’t want to get in on this party. They’re having a good time.’

After being greeted in the front yard, newly released body cam footage sees how a woman manages to effortlessly disarm the officers and lure them into the back.

The officers were told that the celebration was for a teenager as the trio headed into the back on a ‘community relations’ mission.

‘Let’s go see the band,’ one officer said before the three of them were pulled into several minutes of twirling and jiving on the dance floor with the recent graduate and her friend.

Once in the middle of party, the officers started to bust a move on the dance floor with at least one of the cops grabbing a woman’s hand for a dance.

The department posted the video on their Facebook page saying, ‘We get ‘invited’ to the greatest parties…’

Eventually, it is time for the officers to leave and they are still seen singing and dancing their way to their patrol car.

Resident Luis Diaz commented on social media posting: ‘This is how CARROLLTON TEXAS POLICE DEPARTMENT treat Latinos! I am very grateful with these great officers for allowing me to continue with my daughter graduation party last Saturday. Thank you so much :)’

Almost all the Facebook comments supported the officers actions with many saying they were ‘good sports’ and did a great job with ‘community policing,’ according to CBS Dallas.
